What I’m reading right now:
On paper: Verbrechergeschichten - E. A. Poe (lovely cover, isn’t it? :))
Audiobooks: Das Bildnis des Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde; A Dirty Job - Christopher Moore
I have become obsessed with audiobooks, OBSESSED! I was never particularly interested in them before but now I must admit how practical they are, I listen to them in the morning while I prepare breakfast and brush my teeth, at night when my eyes are simply too tired to read in low light conditions, while I cook dinner and wash the dirty dishes, do laundry or when my dog demands to go out. In the meantime my staple of unread paper books is collecting dust, sadly. But of course there are negative points as well, a bad narrator can spoil the whole story and even a skilled narration won’t leave much room for personal imagination in certain cases. But those points aside, they have become a beloved addition to my everyday life! And since summer is almost over, I have a feeling that I’ll give more attention to my paper books again in the near future.
NOW.. is anyone else excited for the new film adaption of Dorian Gray? I know I am! I mean, Ben Barnes… come on, you know? :)
